Fat tires is a look that I have wanted for my car for a long time. When I got her, she had 275s in the rear which are pretty wide, but I want to go wider still. 345/35/18 wider!

There is no way to do this with the stock tubs which meant needing to go to mini tubs.

If we compare the stock tubs

to a mini tub

You can see just how much room we gain considering we need to cut out the shock tower and move to coil-overs in the rear. We also need to cut the stock frame and then re-inforce it to get the full width provided by the tub.

The tubs came out great and give plenty of clearance for my 12" wide rims.
