🕓 May 11, 2021 · ☕2 min read
Tools required: Plumb bobs Tape Marker Tape measure Squaring up the k-member is a fairly simple process You find a spot in the rear to attach your plum bobs, make sure you can attach it to the same place on both sides. I used the inside of the upper control arm brackets. Passenger side shown. Underneath the plumbob you put a piece of tape and put a dot directly under the point once it stops moving.

Mini Tub - Writeup

Fat tires is a look that I have wanted for my car for a long time. When I got her, she had 275s in the rear which are pretty wide, but I want to go wider still. 345/35/18 wider! There is no way to do this with the stock tubs which meant needing to go to mini tubs. If we compare the stock tubs to a mini tub You can see just how much room we gain considering we need to cut out the shock tower and move to coil-overs in the rear.

Floor Repair

When I stripped the car I noticed that the floor was quite rusted in the drivers side footwell. So rusted I was able to put a screw driver right through it. I plan on keeping this car for a long time, it’s already stripped, so now was the time to fix it. I started cutting out the floor in the trouble area, and soon found out that it was not only the floor that needed work but it was rotted right through to the outside of the rocker.
